Not fitted yet . Have had a few problems with bike and still trying to sort. Still trying to sort issues. Basically I was asked do I ride bike in the rain? Yes why shouldn’t I be able to and in a roundabout way I was told not too? Less than 1800miles .

Really, very impressed with the service, amazingly good value bike. I ordered two, one for my wife and myself. I did an enormous amount of research about the C29 and if you do the same and search for online reviews on YouTube etc you really won’t find a negative one. Both bikes then arrived two days early, I have joined various Doutts owners groups on Facebook and you can see from other owners that any issues appear to be resolved without quibble! I do think this company does things right, not just in their pricing but also in their follow up service, may be a Chinese brand but they should be in the John Lewis, M&S ratings with regard their concern for customer satisfaction.

After receiving my c29 I decided to upgrade the brakes as I really need good braking power with the riding that I do. The standed brakes are good for normal use . But the hydralic brakes are a much worth while upgrade.

Absolutely right decision to purchase these excellent brakes. The C29 bike is a powerful vehicle, and needs the appropriate stopping power, that normal mechanical disk nrskes may struggle with. This hydraulic set, complete with new disk rota’s is perfect for the bike I’ve purchased. Very happy with this product and it’s packaging, and reasonably short delivery time, given that it was coming from mainland China, it was expected I wouldn’t get the package immediately, but 2 weeks is ok. Great original product
